Naked Underneath Releases Sophomore Record "Fifty Miles From Hope"

Today, Naked Underneath released Fifty Miles From Hope, the groups sophomore full-length record consisting of 12 new, original rock songs.

Paterson, NJ May 16, 2004 -- Today, Naked Underneath released Fifty Miles From Hope, the groups sophomore full-length record consisting of 12 new, original rock songs.

Self-produced and independently released, Fifty Miles From Hope has moved away from the bands pop-rock roots toward a more singer/songwriter sound. The new record has a much broader range of tracks from soft acoustic ballads, to upbeat original rock songs, which utilize a distinctive vocal harmony that can only be produced by the genetics of two brothers.

For the production of Fifty Miles From Hope, Naked Underneath opted to add two permanent members to the group, instead of utilizing studio musicians. Fans will also notice that the production difference of Fifty Miles From Hope has more of a vintage feel in the recording.

Naked Underneath chose historical club The Bitter End in New York City to premier Fifty Miles From Hope in front of a sold out crowd of 18-35 year olds.

Musically, Naked Underneath has made so many advancements in depth over the past few years that it surprises me. said Patryk Larney, one of the lead singers of Naked Underneath.
